Recreation Committee

Committee Responsibilities

The Recreation Committee is charged with the overseeing and the coordination of all recreational activities at various recreation facilities, including but not limited to the Recreation Center, Robinson Pond, ball fields, etc. The Recreation Committee consists of seven members and one alternate appointed by the Board of Selectmen for terms of three years, such terms to be staggered. Vacancies shall be filled by appointment of the Board of Selectmen for the unexpired term. The membership was increased from five to seven by the Board of Selectmen on December 27, 2005. 


The Recreation Committee meets the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM. The public is invited to attend at Town Hall in the lower level Board of Selectmen Meeting Room.
