Please note the following Q & A:

  • Is the intent to provide 200KW of actual capacity on propane, or can the generator be de-rated to something less than that? RFP calls for 200 KW Generator
  • Kohler’s 200KW on propane is de-rated to 175 KW and would need to increase to 300KW to provide a full 200KW on propane. This will be for contactor to determine.
  • Generac doesn’t make a generator rated above 150KW on propane and would therefore have to offer two 130KW generator in parallel to meet the 200KW rating. RFP calls for 200 KW Generator. You can submit a second bid/alternative if you wish.
  • Both items 2 and 3 become very expensive! Noted
