ASSISTANT TOWN CLERK/TAX COLLECTOR

Great employment opportunity in the Town of Hudson Town Clerk/Tax Collector’s Office.  We are looking to fill a full-time Assistant Town Clerk /Tax Collector position.

We are searching for a highly organized self-starter with strong multi-tasking, customer service and math skills to work in a fast-paced environment.   Flexibility is a must in this position - in order to meet the cyclical demands of the office. 

Minimum qualifications should include knowledge of basic accounting principles with an aptitude for numbers, detail oriented, self-starter, ability to be proactive, ability to change priorities quickly, and exceptional customer service skills. Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to learn new software required.  Successful candidate must meet qualifications for Notary Public and Justice of the Peace.  Hudson residency not required but preferred.

A job description may be obtained from the Town Clerk/Tax Collector’s Office.  This position reports directly to the Town Clerk/Tax Collector.

The hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with the potential for extended hours one evening a week on a rotating basis.

Starting Salary is $19.03 per hour with an increase to $19.70 per hour after the successful completion of a six month probation.
