Burning Permit Applications - Online submission

APPLY OR RENEW NOW ONLINE!

New applications and renewals of burning permits can now be made online.  Applying for or renewing your burning permit online is subject to the following conditions:

• All active & non-revoked permits may be renewed online. If the permitee is not the property owner a Non-Owner NH Burning Permit Authorization Form will be required in addition to the application .

• Revoked permitee's must meet with the Deputy Fire Chief to seek reinstatement of their permit.  Please call the non-emergency line at 603-886-6021 for more information.

• The individual renewing the permit will receive an email within 24-48 hours with an attachment of the updated permit, with the new permit number and any associated information.

REMINDER - requests to burn must still be made thru the Burning Request Hotline at 603-816-3293.

Non-property owners: 

A Non-Owner NH Burning Permit Authorization Form is also required in addition to the burning permit application.   The burning permit will not be processed until the Non-Owner NH Burning Permit Authorization Form is received.  The form can be found at the bottom of this page under the Supporting Documents section.

How to submit the Non-Owner NH Burning Permit Authorization Form:
  • Email the authorization form to: firedispatch@hudsonnh.gov
    • Please reference the following in the subject line: 
      • Burning Permit for "property address"   
  • Mail the authorization form via US Mail to the following address:
    • Hudson Fire Department - 15 Library Street - Hudson, NH 03051
  • Drop off the authorization form at Central Fire Station located at 15 Library Street.  Ring the bell to the right of the main door for assistance.

If you are not the property owner, you will also need to submit the Non-Owner NH Burning Permit Authorization Form from the property owner in addition to this application prior to a burning permit being issued.
