Public Notice - GACIT Hearing
This is notice for the GACIT hearing next Monday at the Community Center from 7pm-8pm.
GACIT stands for Governor’s Advisory Commission on Intermodal Transportation, which is comprised of the 5 Executive Councilors and the Commissioner of NHDOT. The purpose of these Hearings is to receive public comments/testimony on transportation projects and priorities included in the draft 2025-2034 Ten-Year Transportation Improvement Plan, as recommended by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to GACIT. Those not able to attend the meetings can submit written testimony within 10 days of the completion of the Public Hearings (but no later than November 3, 2023 at 4 pm).
There will be a 30 minute presentation by NHDOT and a 30 minute Q&A. Plan documents can be found on this NHDOT web page.
Hudson has two projects currently on the Ten Year Plan:
- Project 42108 – Preliminary Engineering/Feasibility Study of roadway between 3A & 111 (aka southern portion of the circumferential highway)
- Project 44228 – Construction of pedestrian improvements/sidewalks, drainage improvements along Derry Road (102) from Ledge Road to Alvirne High School.
