Fine for Impeding Snow Removal

Please be aware that there is a fine of $100 for impeding snow removal (Town Ordinance 317-19) by parking any vehicle or trailer in the road during a snow event, day or night. The vehicle is also subject to be towed at the owner's expense. Please, help us to help you by not leaving your vehicles in the road when it snows.

 

Landfill Hours

Landfill Open April - November
The Hudson Landfill is open from April through the end of November every Saturday from 8 AM until Noon for leaf and yard waste disposal only. Landfill passes are not required for yard waste.

The landfill will continue to be open the last Saturday of every month year-round from 8 AM until Noon for all other acceptable items. Landfill passes are required to dispose of solid waste, but not for yard waste, cardboard or metal.

Passes can be obtained at the Highway Department, 2 Constitution Drive, and are also issued at the landfill the last Saturday of each month. Proof of residency is required. For additional information please call the Highway Dept at 886-6018.

 

Overnight Parking Ban

In effect through March

Remove all vehicles from the street by 11:00 PM

(Town Ordinance 317-17) No vehicle or trailer shall be parked on any public street between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. from December 1 to March 30. There is a $20 per night fine.
