Blasting Permit Application

In addition to a completed Blasting Permit Application, the following documentation is also required:

  • Valid State of NH License to Use, Purchase & Transport Explosives
  • Valid State of NH Certificate of Competency
  • Valid Certificate of Insurance
    • COI must show the minimum coverage of $1,000,000 for bodily injury and $500,000 for property damage.
    • COI must also state that the carrier is authorized to do business in the State of New Hampshire.
  • Letter from the landowner on which the explosives will occur that authorizes the Fire Chief to inspect the land during the period of the permit and until 20 days after the expiration of the permit.
