Building Board of Appeals
Authority
The Building Board of Appeals derives its authority from the International Building Code (IBC). The Board acts on appeals brought forth by person(s) aggrieved or head of any agency of the municipality from any decision of the building official. Members are individuals either familiar with building construction, or licensed professional engineers, architects. etc. The Board consists of three (3) members appointed for 3-year terms and meets on an as-need basis.
