Transfer Station Hours & Rules
Please see 2024 Solid Waste & Recycling brochure for exact dates (link below). Passes are required to dispose of solid waste, but not for yard waste, cardboard or metal. In case of inclement weather, please check www.hudsonnh.gov for transfer station schedule changes.
Transfer Station passes can be obtained at the Public Works Department only during normal working hours.
Transfer Station passes will no longer be issued to residents on clean up days. All residents must have their Transfer Station pass in hand in order to enter the Transfer Station starting May 8, 2021. For additional information please call the Public Works Department at 886-6018.
Yard Waste Hours
The Hudson Transfer Station is open from April through the end of November every Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon for leaf and yard waste, cardboard and metal disposal only. Passes are not required for yard waste, cardboard or metal.
West Road Transfer Station
Hudson residents wishing to dispose of items at the West Road Transfer Station will abide by the following rules (in effect since January 1, 2012):
- Each residence serviced by curbside collection will be entitled to three clean up day passes per calendar year.
- Passes are valid for that calendar year for which they are issued. All passes will expire on December 31st of every year.
- Passes must be obtained at the Public Works Department, at 2 Constitution Dr., during normal business hours (M-Thu 6:00am-4:00pm).
- Residents will be required to show a valid picture ID to be issued passes for their address. The address will be prominently displayed on the pass and is valid for that address only.
- A valid picture ID will be required on the clean-up day to match to the pass.
- A pass will be required to dispose of any acceptable items per visit, NOT PER DAY.
- Items that do not require a pass: leaf and yard waste, metal that can be recycled and bulk cardboard. These items can be dropped off as often as necessary during clean up days.
The Hudson Transfer Station is located off West Rd., on Old Landfill Rd., Hudson, NH.
Directions: Heading north on Route 102, take a left onto West Rd. and then left onto Old Landfill Rd. Go to the end to enter the transfer station during normal business hours.
