Community Roadside Cleanup

The Sustainability Committee subcommittee “Hudson Sustainability / Community Roadside Cleanup (HS/CRC)” will be chartered to provide the Best Practices – Safety & Collaboration and assist to project manage the effectiveness and efforts of the various groups looking to conduct such “Community Roadside Cleanup” endeavors.

This will include working with Hudson Police Dept. (HPD), Hudson Dept. of Public Works (HDPW), Hudson Fire Dept. (HFD) and other agencies to determine and define policies/procedures for compliance, any/all particular laws pertaining to such a project and ensuring the initiative stays within the Standard Operating Procedures of all parties involved.

Overall goal:  Define and document the Best Practices to request and complete a “Community Roadside Cleanup”, adhering to those prescribed by the HPD, HDPW, HFD and the Hudson Sustainability Committee.

Any incoming request for interest in conducting such a “community roadside cleanup” will follow the standard response protocol identified in the resulting Best Practices – Safety & Collaboration material from the HS/CRC Committee – a project management subcommittee of the Sustainability Committee.
