IT Specialist Vacancy

 The Town of Hudson, NH is accepting resumes and applications for the position of IT Specialist. The successful candidate, working as part of a team, under the general direction of the IT Director, will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting and supporting all hardware and software applications within the town departments. Duties include: 

• Provide first or second level technical assistance for end users requiring support of IT applications, services and equipment .

• Monitor access and security of network devices used at all town locations on the LAN including security and integrity of the equipment and files of authorized personnel.

• Support all town installed applications and ensure they are updated to the latest versions.

• Identify and plan for infrastructure improvements and projects of varying size and complexity.

• Minimize user and system downtime by investigating, evaluating, and resolving problems in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.

  Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in  Computer Science or related field/certifications and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, windows servers, PC’s, VMware, networking and cyber security are essential in support of the Town’s business infrastructure. Salary range is $93,022 to $112,028 plus a generous benefit package including 12 paid holidays and Health/Dental/Vision Insurance.
