COMSTAR DATA BREACH

The Town of Hudson contracts ambulance billing and collection services to Comstar, LLC.  On or about March 26, 2022, Comstar discovered suspicious activity on some of their servers. Comstar secured their network and discovered that they were the subject of a cyber-attack.  Comstar notified the Town of Hudson and is taking the extra step of notifying anyone who used the Town of Hudson ambulance service in the past ten (10) years.   To the best of our knowledge, no Hudson customer’s data has been breached.  Letters were mailed by Comstar offering free credit monitoring through Equifax at no cost those whose information is in their database.
