Heat Advisory Information

HEAT ADVISORIES:

During a heat advisory, expect hot temperatures and high humidity that may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

  • Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

HOW TO STAY COOL:

If you find yourself in need of relief during a heat advisory, the Hudson Senior Center and the Rodgers Memorial Library are a great place to beat the heat.

The Senior Center is available for their registrants during normal business hours and the library is available to the general public during the hours noted below.

REGULAR HOURS:

  • MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 8:00AM TO 4:00PM

ROGERS MEMORIAL LIBRARY

SUMMER 2024 HOURS:

  • MONDAY & FRIDAY 9:00AM TO 5:00PM
  • TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY - 9:00AM TO 9:00PM
  • SATURDAY - 9:00AM TO 1:00PM
  • SUNDAY - CLOSED

HUDSON POLICE DEPARTMENT

There will be a “Cooling” station open to the public at the Hudson Police Department, 1 Constitution Drive, Hudson, NH from 1000 am- 900 pm on Monday, July 15 through Wednesday, July 17.

This will consist of a room with tables, chairs, WiFi, and a bathroom facility. There will be NO food or Water provided, so please bring your own and plan accordingly if you wish to use this cooling station.
