For Melendy Road Bridge (114/083) Project Construction Administration Services
 

The Town of Hudson, through its Engineering Department, is requesting the submittal of qualifications for the project listed above.

Currently, this project is under design phase and scheduled to be bid out for construction in late October 2024.  The Town of Hudson is inviting firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications package for the construction administration services.

This project is currently funded 80% /20% from the NHDOT and Town of Hudson. The Town will ask the State/FHA for 80% reimbursement through the NHDOT Aid Program, therefore, the required NHDOT procurement process is being followed.

This submittal should include:

  1. A brief resume of your company’s experience with respect to similar projects and NHDOT Municipality Managed State Road Program. Focus on the last seven years of experience.
  2. Names and descriptions of key personnel who will be responsible for managing and designing the project.
  3. List of references, preferably from clients for whom you have completed similar projects over the last seven years.

Your submittal should not be greater than 10 pages in length.  Cost incurred in responding to this request shall be borne entirely by the submitting consulting firms.

Three (3) firms will be short-listed for the preparation of a project specific proposal.

Consultant selection will be determined by the Qualification Based Selection (QBS) process and the NHDOT Consultant Selection Process for State Bridge Aid Compliance.  

Selection of the short list will be based on:

  1. Experience of the firm with respect to this type of project
  2. Experience of key individuals performing the work
  3. Knowledge of and working experience with the Town of Hudson.

The Town may choose to interview firms or make a selection based on the qualifications received.  A fee for construction administration services will be negotiated upon selection of a preferred design contractor.

The qualification statement is due to the Town of Hudson Engineering office at 12 School Street, Hudson, NH 03051, on or before June 28, 2024 at 10:00 A.M.  Each consultant assumes responsibility for ensuring the timely submittal of their qualification statement.  This is not the responsibility of the Town.
